Baxley '15 Earns GNAC Honors for the Week of April 13th

Sean Baxley '15 was recognized by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) for Men's Volleyball during the week of April 13th.

At the close of the regular season, the senior setter has been named to the 2015 GNAC Men’s Volleyball All- Conference Team (Second Team). Baxley makes his first career appearance on the GNAC All-Conference squad, earning Second Team honors after a memorable senior campaign that saw him ranked among the national leaders in assists. He finished the year with 834 helpers, averaging 10.05 assists per set to rank second in the GNAC and 10th among NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball setters. Baxley dished out 20+ assists in all 23 matches on the year including 40+ on nine occasions and 50+ twice. On March 26th, Baxley recorded a career-high 59 assists against Johnson & Wales and later that week dished out 52 helpers against Rivier University on March 28th. Over his career, Baxley totaled 1,872 assists over 92 matches to rank fourth all-time in program history. He played in a total of 248 sets, averaging 7.55 assist per set over his tenure with the Saints. Baxley served as the squad's main setter as a junior and senior and finished up with 255 digs, 92 kills, 73 total blocks and 56 aces.
