Parke Inducted into Pi Mu Epsilon Honor Society

Darren Parke '16 was one of eight current students, three alumni and two faculty members inducted into Emmanuel College's brand new chapter of the Pi Mu Epsilon National Mathematics Honor Society on March 30th. The chapter is chartered under the name Massachusetts Mu. Parke has also been named the Massachusetts Mu chapter vice president.

Pi Mu Epsilon's purpose is to promote scholarly activity in mathematics among students in academic institutions by electing members on an honorary basis according to their proficiency in mathematics and engaging in activities designed to promote the mathematical and scholarly development of its members.
