Sainato '16 Earns Spot on GNAC All-Conference Team

Stefano Sainato '16 earned end-of-season recognition from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) with Third Team All-Conference honors.

Sainato enjoyed a strong senior campaign as one of the Saints standout midfielders. He played in all 17 contests, starting 16 of them, and ended the year with a career-best 14 points on six goals and two assists. All 14 of his points came in GNAC action to rank tied for third in the conference for points in conference play. He also became the first player in Emmanuel program history to score two goals in back-to-back GNAC contests.

Sainato finished his college career with 65 games played to rank tied for seventh all-time, recording 34 points on 14 goals and six assists. Sainato ranks sixth in points and goals and tied for ninth in assists at Emmanuel College.

Founded in 1995, the GNAC is comprised of 12 NCAA Division III Institutions, priding itself on the philosophy of Community, Integrity and Sportsmanship.
