Emmanuel Students Present Research at APA Conference
Three Emmanuel students presented research at the American Psychological Association (APA) conference in Denver over the summer. The students presented findings from a pair of research collaborations when Dr. Clare Mehta, which focused on body image and stressors during the "established adulthood" phase of life. They also connected with a wide range of people and ideas at the conference, which is the world's largest gathering of psychologists and psychology students.

Saints Win Poster Prizes at National Biomedical Conference
Two Emmanuel students were recently recognized for outstanding poster presentations at a national biomedical conference. School of Science and Health students Astrid Noriega '26 and Kiana Rodriguez '27 received the awards in November at the annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minoritized Scientists (ABRCMS) in San Antonio, Texas.

Emmanuel Nursing Students Present PICOT Research Projects
More than 40 nursing students at Emmanuel College recently showcased their research skills and knowledge of best practices through PICOT presentations. PICOT is short for: Population, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome, Time; It's a research framework used in nursing to structure clinical questions for evidence-based practice.

Two Students Awarded Fulbrights
Two Emmanuel students, Johanna Salisbury '15 and Hilary Skov '15, were recently named 2015-2016 Fulbright U.S. Student Grant recipients. Salisbury will work as an English Teaching Assistant (ETA) in Andorra, and Skov will work as an ETA in Indonesia.
