Emmanuel College

In honor of their outstanding academic achievement, Emmanuel College has named more than 500 students to the Dean's List for the Spring 2015 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester.

On May 9, 2015, Emmanuel College celebrated its 93rd Commencement Exercises on its campus in Boston. The College conferred undergraduate degrees in Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Science during the ceremony, which featured Commencement speaker Archbishop of Boston Cardinal Sean P. O'Malley, OFM Cap.

In April 2015, nearly 50 Emmanuel students were inducted into the College's circle of Omicron Delta Kappa, the national leadership honor society.

Two Emmanuel students, Johanna Salisbury '15 and Hilary Skov '15, were recently named 2015-2016 Fulbright U.S. Student Grant recipients. Salisbury will work as an English Teaching Assistant (ETA) in Andorra, and Skov will work as an ETA in Indonesia.

Emmanuel student-athletes in 16 varsity sports and the dance team were recognized during the annual Athletics Banquet on Saturday, April 25, 2015.

Top-seeded Emmanuel College rolled to a 13-6 win over No. 2 Mount Ida College on Saturday, April 25th, to win the program's second-consecutive Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Men's Lacrosse Championship. With an overall record of 13-4, the Saints have now earned the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Eleven Emmanuel College students were inducted into Sigma Beta Delta, the International Honor Society in Business, Management and Administration on Thursday, March 26th.

Two Saints student-athletes, Anthony Cibelli '17 of Men's Lacrosse and Kristen Tuleja '16 of Women's Lacrosse were named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Weekly Honor Roll for March 23rd.

ASB a week-long, faith-based service trip held during the College's traditional spring break that bridges volunteer work with education and reflection on larger social issues.

Philosophy major Maggie Dobbins '15 was selected as the winner of the Region IX Outstanding Undergraduate Student Leader award at the Association for Orientation, Transition and Retention in Higher Education (NODA) Region IX Conference, which took place in Hartford, Connecticut, the weekend of February 27th-March 1st.
